Watercolor Sunset
17" x 13"   NFS

Instead of using shapes and colors to make a pattern, a watercolor quilt blends small floral squares by arranging the darker and lighter fabrics in different places. The darker fabrics represent the mountains with the lighter fabrics being the evening sky as it becomes pink. Beads were hand-sewn at every corner of every square, with extra pink and red beads around the sun.

Here is a close up photo.
