This art quilt is titled "Time Lapse Moon Rise," because when a time lapse photo is taken of a moon rise not only does the moon change colors from a red-orange to white, but it also moves up at an angle. This quilt features blue fabrics arranged from dark to light to represent sky and water and a series of moons placed on an angle and changing from red-orange to white, with the same moons reflected in the water.
It is made of commercial and hand-painted cotton fabrics and is fused raw-edge applique with machine free-motion quilting in square and rectangle shpaes. It has a knife-edge binding and comes with a hanging sleeve and rod, ready to hang on a nail.
