A hawk, viewed from above, flying over yellow, green and brown farm fields, with ten "Birds in the Air" quilt block borders on the top and bottom.
The
bird was created on a separate
piece of fabric by fusing many small dark brown
feather-shaped pieces of fabric with thread painting on
top with both a dark brown and a tan-colored thread to
hold all the pieces down and to give more definition to
the feathers.
Comes with a hanging sleeve and rod, ready to hang on a
single nail.
