This is an original watercolor painting of an octagonal barn and it is in matted and framed with the quilt square that is in the painting.  There is a tradition in the Midwest to paint quilt squares on barns.  The name of the quilt square is "Crossed Canoes."

The frame size is 14" x 18", the watercolor painting is 9.5" x 8",
and the quilt square is 4.25" x 4.25".

The client liked the first painting so much, she asked for 2 more original watercolors, although I did different quilt squares for them. The one on the left is called "Arrowhead" and the one on the right is called "Illinois," which is the state where the barn is located.
