24
batik triangles in greens, aqua, blue and purple, each
approximately 2-1/4" tall, were sewn down as the quilt
was quilted. Each triangle piece was sewn down three
times but they don't lay completely flat, sometimes
their corners curl up.
A
white cord was couched over the diagonal quilting lines,
and a lime green bead marks the center. The quilt
is edged with some fuzzy yarn that changes from yellow
to green to aqua to purple, and the white cord is
couched on top of the yarn.
The quilt is wrapped around a wooden frame and is about
3/4" thick. and is ready to hang on a single nail.
Here are some close up
photos.
