Early Morning Nine Patch - Montana Sky
43.5" x 18"   NFS

This quilt won "Best in Show" at the Rosewood Art Center's "The View" exhibit in 2012

This art quilt was made by blending beautiful blue and green fabrics. Some are commercial pieces, some batiks and several are hand dyed. It features a red barn with a 9-Patch quilt square on it that reflect the colors of the land and the sky. There are five more 9-patch quilt squares, one in the field and 4 in the sky.

The quilt is machine pieced with some needle-turn and raw-edge machine appliques and some fun green yarn that is couched. It is machine quilted and has a strip-facing binding and hangs flat against the wall. This is a great quilt to hang over a couch.

Comes with a hanging sleeve and rod, ready to hang on a single nail.

This quilt was created for the Project Quilting, Season 3, Challenge 4, Barn Quilt.
